Dear colleagues,
Given the uncertainty generated by the current health situation, the AEEFI Board of Directors held an extraordinary meeting on 13th March, where it was decided to keep to the scheduled dates for the XXI Conference on International Economics, due to be held in Toledo on 25th and 26th June, in the hope that the situation will have substantially improved by then and the conference can go ahead as normal.
Furthermore, we have agreed to extend the deadline for registration until 1st May, with a reduced fee. This will ensure that participants have more time, and possibly more information, when planning their conference attendance and travel to Toledo, and are not adversely affected when confirming the registration.
Lastly, the organizing committee is already working to see if it would be possible to set up online sessions, if necessary.
We also take this opportunity to inform you that once again this year the conference is shaping up to be a landmark event in the field of international economics, having achieved a new record in terms of its internationalization. Specifically, this year, 100 works from 34 countries have been accepted.
We wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you in Toledo.
The AEEFI Board of Directors
